Refund, Return & Cancelation Policy

Please be aware that arranging pallet deliveries by trucking companies is not only costly and time consuming, but also challenging in terms of booking available delivery slots, especially during the current market situation which is experiencing extremely high demand. To reduce unnecessary additional trucking traffic, cost and delivery schedules, we are tightening our cancellation policy. We hope that this will encourage customers to consider more carefully before placing an order, and thus avoid requesting any cancellation.

 

Right to cancel

  1.  You have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the last good.
  2. To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us (Solar Battery Group Ltd,
    Unit 2 Lumen House, 99 Vale Road, London, United Kingdom, N4 1PR United Kingdom, info@solarbatterygroup.co.uk) of your decision to cancel this contract by a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or e-mail).
  3. You may be requested to fill in a cancellation form depending on which warehouse you will be returning your goods to. To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired or by mail using the details provided below.

 

Returning Goods

  1. You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation from this contract to us.
  2. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.
  3. All return is to take place between the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm on a Business Day to the warehouse address provided by the supplier and at the cost and risk of the Buyer.

 

Cancellation fees

  1. If orders have not been processed for dispatch, both TRADE CUSTOMERS and CONSUMERS will not be charged any cancellation fee.
  2. All orders placed as a “Pre-order” where the dispatch/ delivery date is still pending some time in the future, can be cancelled without incurring any cancellation fee.
  3. If orders have been processed for dispatch, TRADE CUSTOMERS will be charged a 25% restocking fee for returning the goods. However, CONSUMERS will not be charged a cancellation fee and will be given a full refund of the cost of the products only. Please note that depending on the amount of demand each day, orders can be processed for dispatch anytime within the hour, but it can also be processed within 2 days after order placement.
  4. If your order is not a “Pre-order”, there is no guarantee that your order was not processed for dispatch in less than 1 hour after placing the order. This will incur a 25% restocking fee for TRADE CUSTOMERS.
  5. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

 

Refund Policy

  1. Any amount of refund will be made using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise.
  2. We may withhold re-imbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
  3. You are liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
  4. We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than –
    (a) 14 days after the day we receive back from you any goods supplied, or
    (b) (if earlier) 14 days after the day you provide evidence that you have returned the goods, or
    (c) if there were no goods supplied, 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel this contract.

 

Quality of Returns

  1. All returns are acceptable only if it is still in tact within its original packaging, is in a resalable condition, fully functional, and correctly labelled.
  2. The warehouse will check every return and determine if it is still in its original resalable condition.
  3. Returns can only be approved and refunds can only be processed if requested within 14 days of receiving goods.

 

Return/ Cancellation after 14 Days

Any Return or Cancellation request made after 14 days of receiving the goods will not be approved.
